With most companies having finalised plans for their festive team get together, we’re looking to add some sparkle to your end of year celebrations by offering you the chance to win your festive party for your office.

In a time where a majority of us have been hybrid working and unable to meet face to face, having a centralised festive party will allow you to get all of your team members back together over some delicious food, cracking drinks and unforgettable entertainment.

Are you a current client or new to Deliveroo for Work? Or simply just passing by? It doesn’t matter, Rein-deer to dream as our competition is open to all who fall within our entry requirements, so let’s get to it! Here’s how you can be in with a chance of winning a festive party for your team upto €2.5k.

Overview

Tis the season to be jolly, as it's time to celebrate with your co-workers and bring your team together. All you have to do is nominate your office hero before 15 November 2022 - sound good?

Simply tell us how they've gone above and beyond for your office, earning them the title of office hero. In addition to this cracker of a prize, the nominated office hero from the winning company will also receive something special too. That’s right, two prizes are on offer to end the year on a high!

What makes an office hero?

So, you may be wondering what makes an office hero? Could it be that person in your finance team who always approves your PO’s in a blink of an eye? Perhaps it’s your best friend who always comes to the rescue if things go wrong? Or someone who can organise a meeting at the drop of a hat?

Only you can decide and it can even be someone who just does the little things each day which brighten your workplace experience.

Importance of a team get together

After a couple years of disruption to the working environment, now is a great opportunity to get your team back together and build a stronger workplace culture. According to Travel Perk, 79% of employees are most excited to get back to events for the opportunity to meet other colleagues and build meaningful relationships in real life.

More face to face moments, networking and laughs with your colleagues is all part of building a strong culture and in return, you’ll have more staff wanting to both join and stay at your company - make social events one of your key employee perks.

How to enter

The Competition opens for entry at 00:01am (IE Time) on 17/10/2022 and closes at 11:59 pm (IE Time) on 15/11/2022.

To successfully enter this competition, entrants will have to visit our entry page or one of our social media forms and fill out their details including a short description regarding who they’ve nominated to be their office hero and why.

Prize

We’re so glad you asked, just in case you want get the breakdown of what you could win, here’s what’s on offer:

• A festive party paid for upto the value of €2.5k which can go towards food and drink from one of our outstanding restaurant partners
• The winning office hero (1), from the chosen company, will also win a gift hamper upto the value of €100.

Choosing the winner

All entrants, who follow entry requirements, will have their entry reviewed by our internal panels, from Deliveroo for Work, who will then pick and vote on one (1) winner based on chosen criteria. Our 4 hero characteristics: Team player, results-driven, positive attitude, empathetic. Each eligible entry will be scored out of 10 for each category. The entrant with the highest total score will be selected as the winner for that country.

Our tip for entry… the more creative your story the better and make sure you base them on our 4 hero characteristics mentioned above. Maybe it’s time to dust off those good old festive puns and describe your office hero?

Entry requirements

It’s time to exchange your glass of mulled wine for perhaps a festive hot chocolate, as here are our important entry requirements to ensure your entry sleighs through to the judging process:

• To participate in the Competition, entrants must be a legal resident of the Republic of Ireland

• Internet access is required to enter the Competition

• One entry per person

• Company size of at least 50 employees (based in your Dublin office)

• Companies can be based anywhere but the Prize must be received at a Dublin based office location with at least 50 employees

• Open to both existing and non-existing Deliveroo for Work customers

• Winner’s must be signed up to Deliveroo for Work before receiving their prize
